SUPPORT AND TRAINING FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES

As part of Government’s plans to minimize the rate at which persons with disabilities seek for help from others it took it upon it self to support such people through the District Assemblies with the Help of the Social Welfare and Community Development department. Funds are distributed to assemblies which are to be given to persons with disabilities to support them in their chosen fields; education, apprenticeship, expansion of business or a business start up. Below are some shots taken during the disbursement of funds and training of some of the persons with disabilities at the assembly’s premises;
